Douglas Laing’s Single Cask Malts and Premium Blended Scotch Whiskies

This is some of the best packaging I have seen for a whiskey. (via NotCot) They replicated the bottles sent to them from distilleries and the actual writing on the labels is hand written. It is a 20 cl Old Malt Cask. This is one of those “I have to try it because the packaging is so cool” sort of deals. The problem is you always want to buy a set of 2 so you can keep one on your shelf.

The next post is this new WAT-AAAH! for kids. Simply too cool for words as the packaging is so kid friendly that it made me want to buy the set for the fun of it.

One of the things I have noticed recently with packaging is that the smaller companies are developing more niches and separating themselves from the mainstream (ex. JD). Developing a cult following is not hard nowadays if you do it correctly.
