I like posting interesting music to my blog for 2 major reasons – a) I really love music that isn’t pop culture b) you will never wonder what to post since there is so much great music out there.
A clip from the 2009 documentary “Objectified” which is all about industrial design. Since 1997 Jonathan has had his hands on just about everything that has contributed to Apple’s success.
Ives approaches design with a minimalism that requires tons of thought. I would love to say something intelligent about the man beyond the words “sheer genius”. I am amazed at his capacity to create each iteration by combining and minimizing the impact on the user.
La Roux – Bulletproof (Zinc Remix) [Non-Radio Edit]
La Roux is very popular in Europe and they are hitting the U.S. hard this summer with their single Bulletproof. However, it is the zinc remix that is hitting the airwaves and it is available nowhere.
Everyone and their mother is looking for this and Apple and the usual suspects do not have this version available in the U.S. but this is the version that everyone is listening to on the radio. This is awesome use of stop motion. From concept to execution I just absolutely loved this video. It also helps a lot when the song is kick-ass. These are the kinds of videos I will be featuring on my new site which I am working on.
