Brewed in Brooklyn. Since 1976.

Hello, Future.

My name is Ken. I lead creative direction, product design strategy, user experience and interaction design for clients through a collective of designers, thinkers, and makers by means of my studio — Liquid New York.

I have over 18 years experience in interactive creative direction and user experience design, including concept development, information architecture, interaction design, and user interface design. My diverse background across industries fostered a nuanced understanding of the life cycle of design, technology, marketing, and sales.

My work on global interactive properties has been seen by hundreds of millions of users – including on the acclaimed Answers.com and the US Open Tennis Championships. Continually recognized by the Webby Awards (web version of Susan Lucci), W3 Awards, Web Marketing Association, and published in industry press. I am also an Executive judge for the Webby’s as part of the International Academy of Arts and Sciences.

Most recently, I led User Experience for Cardstack, building an open-source software architecture and protocol, to bring the decentralized Internet to the masses by offering a Cohesive User Experience (CUE) that spans the blockchain and the cloud.

Previously, I served as Creative Director for 7 years to lead strategy, style and overall user experience, execute on and oversee visual design for the USTA Online Network, including the national network of sites, E-commerce, US Open Series, USOpen.org, and USTA partners. I worked alongside the business development team with sponsors including American Express, IBM, Mercedes Benz, Tiffany & Co., Olympus, Lexus, Citizen, Grey Goose, Panasonic, Tennis Channel, Wilson, Unilever, Xerox, Emirates Airline, CBS Sports, and ESPN to create actionable and memorable experiences for their customers within the US Open brand architecture.
