This is some seriously cool headgear. However, I don’t like how much fabraic they have that ends up leaving a bubble on the top. I guess you have to have a lot of hair which unfortunately, I am no longer blessed with.

Just received my tshirt from designgive™. designgive™ is a great cause and it allows you to donate to the charity of your choice – American Diabetes Assocation, American Cancer Society, American Red Cross, Unicef, Make-A-Wish Foundation,CWAC, and the ASPCA. The tshirts are economically priced at only $13 bucks and they are printed on American Apparel.
“A cause for design, plain and simple. As artists we were given the talen to create, it’s up to you to use those talents to try and make a difference in the world.”
I hope I get a minute one of these days to design a shirt.

“Use your iBend™ on a plane, bus, or train – whilst lifting weights, eating breakfast, waiting at the sushi bar, getting your teeth cleaned, at a business meeting, sitting in traffic, serving on a jury or practicing yoga.
The slenderness of the iBend™ allows you to easily store it in your wallet, pocket or purse so you’ll always have one (or two) handy.”
Through the grapevine… I find out that this excellent product was created by the guys over at Cuban Council. Mike Buzzard also one of the creators of k10k.net and part of the team that created the Facebook logo was a sponsor for the Design Your Ride snowboard design contest in 2006 (aka Kaseisports.com). Congrats on the product launch. I think you are $5 closer to a few million. Best of luck.

This has to be the ultimate toy for the Star War’s fan. If I had $500 to drop I would buy this in a heart beat. Hopefully they still have this around in 6 months or so.

UPDATE: Here is the Falcon being built in a 3 minute time lapse video. Amazing!!!
This is it – the biggest, most spectacular LEGO® Star Wars model ever! Straight out of the classic Star Wars movies comes the Ultimate Collector’s Millennium Falcon, Han Solo’s famous smuggling starship. Every detail of the modified Corellian Engineering Corporation YT-1300 freighter is here, all constructed to scale with LEGO minifigures. At almost 3 feet (90cm) long, it’s the ultimate centerpiece to any Star Wars collection!

Douglas Laing’s Single Cask Malts and Premium Blended Scotch Whiskies
This is some of the best packaging I have seen for a whiskey. (via NotCot) They replicated the bottles sent to them from distilleries and the actual writing on the labels is hand written. It is a 20 cl Old Malt Cask. This is one of those “I have to try it because the packaging is so cool” sort of deals. The problem is you always want to buy a set of 2 so you can keep one on your shelf.
The next post is this new WAT-AAAH! for kids. Simply too cool for words as the packaging is so kid friendly that it made me want to buy the set for the fun of it.
One of the things I have noticed recently with packaging is that the smaller companies are developing more niches and separating themselves from the mainstream (ex. JD). Developing a cult following is not hard nowadays if you do it correctly.
I have to say for a $60 purchase this was a steal. It’s got a ton of pockets although I can’t seem to figure out where the audio exit is. The reason for my post is not an obvious one. Yes, it’s a decent bag but the unique part about it is the iconography labels stitched onto all the pockets.
Everything is coded. I always wonder what pockets are meant for when the bag designer created his idea for the bag. This leaves no mystery and makes you want to break the rules a bit. However, the audio pocket is bugging the heck out of me and I want to call their customer service and ask.
